CARSON, Calif. -- Injuries. Fatigue. Poor form. Mental mistakes or just plain bad luck. Whatever the reason, Real Salt Lake was unable to get a point against the defending MLS Western Conference champion Los Angeles Galaxy Saturday night at the Home Depot Center.

"There's a whole host of reasons," said coach Jason Kreis. "I think -- I wouldn't say excuses -- there's a whole host of reasons why we couldn't get a result in that game. But again, credit to our guys, they really played hard."
