Some people will say anything to hide and promote their real agenda, but eventually it comes out. Recently, City Weekly quoted Scott McCoy boasting that "same-sex marriage is not an issue that Utah is going to be able to hide from forever" and that "Utah has tried to build a sandbag wall as high and strong as possible -- but I don't think it is going to be able to keep back the flood."
How interesting. In 2004, when McCoy headed up the "Don't Amend Alliance," he appealed to conservatives by arguing the opposite on his "don't amend" Web site -- that traditional marriage was safe in Utah because we had strongly worded laws and, therefore, defining marriage by way of amendment was "redundant and unnecessary."See the full content of this document
