Marriage 'Goal' Is False

Summary

I find it quite funny that Linda Wright believes, to enter marriage, one's goal must be to reproduce (Forum, July 24). Under her logic, every couple that cannot have children or do not want children are not really married. If that is true, does she believe these heterosexual couples are breaking the sanctity of marriage? Does that not then void the argument that allowing gay marriage would undermine that sanctity, being it has already broken? I believe it does.
