Summary
I've been appalled by recent news of suicides among young people who have been bullied because they are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender or because others perceive them to be LGBT. Something needs to be done by those in power. Lives cannot be lost because of the bullying that takes place. How horrible that a human's life was taken before we started to talk more seriously about this issue. Bullying people because they are not heterosexual must stop. Every student has the right to go to a safe, comfortable school. As a member of this community, I expect that more will be done to stop this.
