Summary
I think it's sad when people speculate what would have happened if certain people would have never been born. Both the pro-life and the pro-life sides do this to promote their agenda. I once heard a touching remark by a speaker speaking frankly to young adults about the sadness of sexual crimes and diseases. She stated that she was the product of rape, but she was not on either side of the pro-life or pro-choice issues. She was certainly glad she was born, but she wasn't happy that her mother was raped. She wouldn't have blamed her mother if she would have felt she couldn't have had her. Just as she might not have been around if her mother had had a miscarriage, if she would have been stillborn or if she and her mother had died during childbirth. Things happen, life is not perfect and we can't go back and speculate. And we certainly shouldn't do it to others.
