Summary
I have a two-pronged program for Mayor Rocky Anderson. The first is to increase property taxes in Salt Lake City. This increased tax burden will result in a decline in the value of homes there. The people in Davis and Weber counties could then find affordable housing in Salt Lake City and not have to commute. The second prong is to use the revenues from the tax increase to subsidize businesses in Salt Lake City that would be willing to relocate to Davis and Weber counties.
The programs might even reverse the commute. Someday the residents of Salt Lake City could spew out pollution and foul the air of the people who live in Davis and Weber counties.See the full content of this document
