South Jordan-based PC Laptops said this week that it will offer free lifetime labor and service support to owners of PC Club brand computers in Utah and Nevada, after PC Club announced it has gone out of business.

The hardware components in personal computers typically have manufacturer warranties of one to five years. In the case of failure of components in a PC Club computer -- such as failure of a hard drive, mother board or graphics controller -- PC Laptops will coordinate with component manufactures to "ensure the best outcomes" for replacing or upgrading such components that are still under warranty, PC Laptops said in a news release Wednesday.
