It was, of course, a mistake. They must have put the wrong papers in the envelope. These thoughts ran through Shauna Pusey's mind when she and her husband, John, opened their mission call. For weeks they had been talking with missionary friends and the mission president in Preston, England, and the mission call was a mere formality. John was going to Preston to help install computers for the new temple. He and Shauna were to serve there.

Upon checking, however, they found that the call was correct. They were to serve for 18 months in the India Madras Mission. "You can imagine my shock," Shauna explained. "I didn't want to go." Nevertheless, Shauna had determined over many years of service that when the Lord called she would obey, and she did.
