Summary
When someone robs or steals, we rarely look at the application or use of the booty to determine if we should respond to the thief. It seems illogical to evaluate what contribution an alien makes if he has broken our laws to get here. It seems even more illogical that the offspring of an alien, born here, is automatically a citizen. If our country needs to bring "honest, hard-working" people to help us with our economy, the first priority is to fix the system that allows them to apply for legal status.
Once we have a system in place for them to come without undue delays or red tape, we offer this option to those who are here already ... to apply for legal status. Anyone who then comes, or is here illegally, gets prosecuted! If there is an option to be here legally without too much expense, the smugglers won't have a market. If Mexico's president thinks we are too harsh on our border laws, have him check his own. If he wants to pay for the services we provide his citizens here, I am sure we can figure out a way to send them a bill.See the full content of this document
