A federal judge has thrown out evidence that a man previously convicted of domestic violence illegally kept a shotgun and handgun in his Centerville home.

U.S. District Judge Ted Stewart on Tuesday granted Kenneth Charles Rogers' motion to suppress the evidence, which was discovered Feb. 4, 2003, when police assisted Rogers' ex-girlfriend as she moved her personal items out of the home they shared.
