Summary


Just days before a prime suspect in the disappearance and death of 15-year-old Kiplyn Davis is to go to trial, a federal judge is expected to address remaining motions in the case, including a motion to dismiss the charges.

Timmy Brent Olsen is expected to stand trial on 17 counts of lying to FBI agents and perjury before a grand jury for statements he denied making to various witnesses, including admissions that he killed Davis. The trial, which is scheduled to begin next Monday, is to start one day before the 10-year anniversary of when Davis vanished from Spanish Fork High School around lunch time. The trial is scheduled to last three weeks due to an estimated 70 witnesses federal prosecutors say they have.
