MIDVALE -- A Jordan sophomore was ruled ineligible for any kind of athletics at Jordan High until Nov. 12 as punishment for not being completely truthful during a transfer hearing.
The five-member hearing panel found that the boy wasn't completely honest with a panel that heard his appeal on Aug. 14. At that time, he was asked if he'd been practicing with Jordan's football team and he said no.
