Hoteliers in Salt Lake City and all of Utah saw occupancy rates and average room rates fall at or near their lowest points for the year in May.
Statistics released Monday in the Rocky Mountain Lodging Report indicate that Utah's occupancy rate of 60 percent in May was down from 64.4 percent in April and represented the low mark for 2005. The high this year was 71.6 percent in March. A year ago, the occupancy rate statewide was 56.9 percent.See the full content of this document
