Summary


MOAB -- The hail may have been crashing down, the thunder cracking in the sky and bolts of lightning all around, but nothing could dampen the enthusiasm of a small crowd gathered to acknowledge the work accomplished so far with a pilot trails project.

The Monday event was a celebration 30 miles deep into the La Sal Mountains at an elevation of 11,000 feet, marking a cooperative effort among off-highway trail users, county officials and public lands managers.
