High School Football: Jordan Gets Best of Fremont

Summary

PLAIN CITY -- Memo to the rest of the state: The Jordan Beetdiggers' offense isn't going to skip a beat, even with the graduation of Alex Hart, now a backup quarterback at Utah State. Thanks to McCoy Hill, who completed 19 of 37 passes for 253 yards in a 27-17 win against the Fremont Silverwolves, Jordan's offense appears to be in good hands.

Following a sloppy first quarter, both teams finally began to click ?-- first when the Beetdiggers scored on a 69-yard touchdown pass from Hill to Taylor Loomis, and later when Fremont's Aaron Van Woerkom connected with Tate Lewis for a 30-yard score, putting the Silverwolves up 10-7.
