WEST HAVEN, Weber County -- A West Haven man died early Friday after he was struck by a motorist who apparently didn't see him in the roadway.

Cody Hadley, 25, was walking south on 3500 West in West Haven just after 1:30 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle that was also heading south, Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Mark Lowther said. Hadley was wearing dark clothing in the rural area, and the driver "didn't see him until impact," the lieutenant said.
