WASHINGTON -- While local Democratic leaders continue to celebrate a higher-than-expected turnout at their party's presidential primary Tuesday, high-ranking Republicans are taking shots at Rep. Jim Matheson, D-Utah, for not voting in the state's election.

"I'm just stunned," said Rep. Tom Reynolds, R-N.Y., chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, which works to elect Republicans to the House. "For Jim Matheson to ask for other people's vote and not take the time to do it himself is outrageous."
