To borrow from Jerry Sloan's Glossary of Farmspeak, it was "innersting" to hear last week that -- in spite of the Jazz's embarrassing record -- he won't be giving up. Not only is he sticking with this year's shipwrecked team, he won't let it commit suicide, either.
That doesn't mean the Jazz won't lose the rest of their games, but at least they won't be doing so purposely, in order to get the top pick in the NBA draft. If Sloan has any say in the final 33 games of this year, they won't be selling their souls.
