MIDVALE -- A 7-year-old girl was rushed to Primary Children's Medical Center Monday night after she was struck by a car.
Sandy Police Lt. Bill O'Neal said the girl suffered critical injuries after she ran out into the road near 400 E. 7800 South and was struck by a car at about 6 p.m. O'Neal said the driver couldn't stop in time and tried to swerve but was unable to avoid hitting her.
