Rising crude oil prices and a cold winter caused a big jump in the state's gasoline prices this month, according to a new survey by AAA Utah.
The average price for a gallon of unleaded, regular, self-serve gasoline hit $1.63 in Utah this month, up 8 cents from January and a jump of 3 cents from February 2003, AAA Utah reported.
