Summary
How short people's memories are. There's been a lot of talk about the U.S. unilateral action in Iraq. They call us arrogant. When the war started a year ago, the world was in a recession. Military action was hugely unpopular in Europe and elsewhere because their economies just couldn't support it. The United States and Britain were the only ones who could wage war at the time. Waiting until the world economy improved could have taken years. Instead of rooting for our enemies, as the cowardly French do, they should be thanking us.
