Forklift Used to Rescue a Man From His Home

Lansing, Mich., firefighters had to extricate a 900-pound man from his home by cutting a hole in the wall of his second-floor bedroom and lifting him out on a forklift.

Rescue workers were called to a duplex on Tuesday by a visiting nurse, who determined the man needed medical help, according to a Lansing Fire official. The man reportedly had not left his home since 2003.
