An unidentified woman was killed while riding her bicycle in Big Cottonwood Canyon Saturday.
The woman, whose name, age and city of residence police had been unable to verify by press time, was riding a road-style bicycle up the canyon when she was struck from behind by a passenger car, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Jon Fassett said. The accident happened about 4 p.m., about 12 miles up the canyon just shy of the first entrance to the Solitude ski resort, Fassett said.See the full content of this document
