Summary
I have another perspective on the issue of divorced fathers.
I grew up never knowing my three half-brothers because my father's ex-wife would never let him have anything to do with them, other than paying child support and alimony until the youngest was an adult. He was not a deadbeat dad, but he died without ever getting to know his own sons or the grandchildren from them. Years later a granddaughter searched for him and found me.
