Disney Board Rejects Comcast's Bid

LOS ANGELES -- The board of the Walt Disney Co. said Monday that it had unanimously rejected a $54 billion unsolicited stock offer from the Comcast Corp. because it was too low.

The bid was spurned, according to a statement released by the board, because the stock offer is currently worth $3.60 less per share than the market price of Disney's stock.
