Summary
Several years ago, the so-called affordable housing legislation got traction in Congress. It sounded good on the surface. Every citizen deserves to experience the American dream of owning a home. This corrupt piece of legislation, along with the politicians who were its overseers, is largely responsible for the financial mess that this country is currently experiencing. The disastrous consequences of a government-mandated health care system will be all too similar in nature.
