BOISE -- Despite outshooting the Idaho Steelheads 40-25, the Grizzlies fell 2-1 on Friday.

The Grizzlies started 22-year-old rookie Marc Rinfret who made his professional debut in the game and stood tall. Utah starter Andrew Engelage came up limp at morning skate and was held out for precautionary reasons. Utah was also without defensemen Jake Gannon and Brian Kilburg, who was serving a one-game ECHL suspension.
