Summary
In response to Carolyn Barrani's letter (Readers' Forum, March 4) about the wonderful job that the administration at UVSC is doing, I disagree in multiple ways. The administration's attempt to push a liberal social agenda is not doing much to influence the students at UVSC, including me. And in response to the statement, "Rescue democracy in Utah, work to prevent the tyranny of the majority," democracy is majority rule. If Ms. Barrani had a clue about the true ideals upon which this country was founded, she would know that the founders did not want a democracy but a constitutional republic. In proper execution of our founder's government, majority rule or minority rule would not exist.
