LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Guarding Wyoming's guards can be a little like juggling razor blades. That's why BYU coach Dave Rose had high praise for the defensive job of Sam Burgess in the Cougars' 77-73 win over the Cowboys Tuesday night.

Cowboy shooter James Spencer ripped the Cougars for 15 first- half points. But Spencer made only three more field goals once Burgess came off the bench to shadow the Wyoming star -- just one of them given up by the former Lone Peak star.
