Danes Say Tests On Suspect Mortar Shells Inconclusive

CAMP EDEN, Iraq (AP) -- Tests by Danish, British and U.S. experts have been inconclusive in determining if mortar shells unearthed last week in southern Iraq contain a blister agent, a Danish army spokesman said Wednesday.

The 36 shells, discovered last week by Danish troops, are believed to be from the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war.
