Summary
When Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. was first elected, he said how underpaid the school teachers were and how they had too many students. Now that the recession is here, he is willing to have the teachers laid off and the class loads increased.
I am wondering why he doesn't spread the problem around equally. He could very easily decrease all government workers pay by 1 percent or 2 percent across the board, thus making more money available for education. If he is afraid his employees will leave their jobs, I say let them. I say state workers are overpaid and under worked for the most part.See the full content of this document
