Summary
I have read about the school board meetings and have even attended one for the Canyons School District. Here are my suggestions for all school boards to consider: outsourcing, sharing and consolidating.
All school districts in the valley should share one data processing department. They should form purchasing cooperatives. They should have a central food service co-op (?la airlines). They should look at centralizing or outsourcing janitorial, carpentry, carpet laying, security and maybe even car pools.See the full content of this document
