Summary
This is the second time in seven months in which a Doug Dansie letter cites a "Stanford University study" on media bias (Readers' Forum, Nov. 25). I found "A Measure of Media Bias" by a Stanford graduate, which compares sources cited in media reports to sources cited in Congressional speeches in 2003.
If a news outlet used a source that was also used in a Ted Kennedy speech, that media outlet was considered to be more liberal than the Congressional norm. In 2003, the Congressional norm was a Republican supporting the neo-conservative agenda.See the full content of this document
