Comair Pilots Accept Cuts in Pay, Retirement Benefits

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Comair pilots on Friday approved concessions worth about $17 million annually that the airline says it needs to remain competitive with other regional carriers that want to provide feeder service to its parent, Delta Air Lines Inc.

Members of the 1,700-member branch of the Air Line Pilots Association that represents Comair pilots ratified the amendments to the current contract by only a 16-vote margin, 704-688, union spokesman Brian Moynihan said.
