Two Coloradans were injured in separate accidents while riding off-road vehicles in Grand County Saturday.
Christopher McHale, 22, suffered scrapes and scratches to his head, arm and elbow after his ATV threw a tie rod and he lost control of the vehicle. McHale, of Fort Lupton, Colo., was riding the Poison Spider 4x4 trail northeast of Moab near the La Sal Mountains when the accident occurred at about 2:30 p.m., a Grand County Sheriff's Office press release says. He was taken in a private car to Allen Memorial Hospital in Moab, a dispatcher said.See the full content of this document
