Putting politics aside, there is a common issue we should all be concerned with: the condition of our air quality. When we can see our air, when it burns our eyes and our children are not allowed outdoors for recess, this should be a clarion call that we need new leaders who have a vision for our state. The message of mining more coal without even considering other solutions is not the answer we need at this crucial time when more and more of our children have asthma. What messages have we received from our current governor or last year's legislature that they take this concern seriously?
