If the College of Eastern Utah could have avoided Idaho, it just may have won a conference title. The Golden Eagles' season ended with a loss to the College of Southern Idaho in the Scenic West Athletic Conference tournament. It was the end to an up-and-down season that saw the team struggle against the two teams from Idaho and dominate the teams from Utah and Colorado.

All season CEU seemed to have an answer for teams from Utah and Colorado. Dixie, Salt Lake Community College, Snow and North West Colorado Community College were beatable, and the Eagles proved it often. They finished with a 10-3 mark against those teams including a first-round win in the tournament over Snow.
