The pace of negotiations between Delta Air Lines Inc. and its pilots union on pay cuts should accelerate, airline chief executive Gerald Grinstein said Wednesday after a speech to government and business leaders in Atlanta.

"I am never satisfied with the pace of these negotiations," he told reporters after addressing the Buckhead Coalition, an economic development association focused on the north side of Atlanta, where Delta is based.
