Summary
A man who said he had a bomb prompted the evacuation of the Wells Fargo building in downtown Salt Lake City Tuesday afternoon.
Detective Jared Wihongi said the incident started at 2:35 p.m. when a man claiming to have a bomb entered the building at 3rd South and Main Street. Police were able to arrest the man without incident and members of the bomb squad were on the scene evaluating the backpack, which remained in the building.
