PROVO -- An English professor at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, Calif., will speak today at the 11:05 a.m. forum in the Marriott Center at Brigham Young University.

The topic of Marilyn Chandler McEntyre's address will be "The Beholding Eye: Reflections in Poetry on the Art of Vermeer, Rembrandt and Van Gogh." McEntyre, an award-winning professor and author, earned a bachelor's degree from Pomona College, a master's degree from the University of California-Davis and a doctorate in comparative literature from Princeton University.
