PLEASANT GROVE -- After pitcher Ali Bramwell dominated with 10 of her 11 strikeouts in the first five innings, Timpanogos held on for a 3-2 victory over Pleasant Grove -- giving the Timberwolves their first Region 7 victory.

"Even when Ali's off she's still good," Timpanogos coach Randy Richins said. "She wasn't hitting her spots, I didn't feel like. She was pitching from behind a lot more in the count today, but I'll take 11 strikeouts any time."
