Bookstore Owner Pleads Guilty to Felony Sexual Abuse of Teen

Summary


ROOSEVELT -- Religious bookstore owner Brad R. Gale pleaded guilty Thursday evening in 8th District Court to four first-degree felonies related to the ongoing sexual abuse of a teenage boy.

In an agreement with the Duchesne County Attorney's Office, Gale entered guilty pleas to two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, one count of sodomy on a child, and one count of forcible sodomy. In exchange for pleading guilty, prosecutors agreed to dismiss two counts of rape of a child and two counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
