Sarah Ann Bush takes the gay-marriage-debate cake when she blames homosexuality for AIDS. She says for that reason alone, we shouldn't legalize gay marriage. Her reasoning escapes me. Marriages are monogamous unions. Marriages tend to help prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases by ensuring a person has only one partner. Or perhaps she sees it as a purely punitive move. In that case, should heterosexuals also be punished for those STDs whose "Patient Zero" was straight?
