A Salt Lake man who was hit by a car while riding his bicycle has died from his injuries.

Leory Martinez, 62, was riding his bike in the crosswalk at the corner of Indiana Avenue and Navajo Street (near 1300 West and 1700 South) about 6:20 a.m. Monday. Martinez was riding across the street when he reversed direction without warning, said Salt Lake Police Sgt. Robin Snyder.
