Hundreds of sleeping bags, blankets and tents, as well as thousands of clothing items, were collected Saturday to be sent to victims of an earthquake that rocked parts of Peru on Wednesday.
The community response was "so overwhelming" that the Poder Para la Familia (Power to Hispanic Families), a nonprofit center in Salt Lake City, will keep its doors open today for anyone wanting to make donations.See the full content of this document
