WHO'S WATCHING? If you hate missing even one advertisement (or if you consider Sunday your day of rest) do a simple buffet so people can help themselves. Or invite people over to eat BEFORE kickoff, and then you can relax and pass around a few munchies in front of the TV. If, on the other hand, you're just as happy manning the stove or grill, then you won't be frustrated doing individual quesadillas or kebabs.

Likewise, you could have guests who consider football secondary - - they're more interested in the chow and chatter. If so, set up the food station away from the TV. Die-hard fans can watch the game in peace, and people won't be walking in front of the screen ...
