Ancient Concrete No Surprise

Summary

Evidence that concrete was used in the pyramids of Giza is not all that surprising to me (Dec. 1). Thousands of years ago a superior cement was used in the construction of roads in Yucatan and vicinity. These roads run all over the Yucatan peninsula. A book that refers to the subject was compiled by Dewey and Edith Wood Farnsworth and published in 1947.

That both the Giza and the Yucatan areas used cement tends to substantiate the theory that the people of South America came from Asia. The fact that pyramids are found in both places also bolsters the theory. In fact, I have read that the largest pyramid in the world is the pyramid of Cholula in Mexico, which is exactly twice the size of Cheops, the largest in Egypt.
