Afghanistan Helicopter Crash Kills 16 People in East (Update2)

Summary


As many as 16 people were killed when a helicopter crashed in eastern Afghanistan, the U.S.-led coalition military said.

"The helicopter came down yesterday morning in the mountains around Khost," coalition spokesman Sergeant Chris Miller said in a telephone interview from the Afghan capital, Kabul. "There were 16 passengers on board, and no survivors."
