Summary
Every day thousands of phone calls are made to 911. These calls are answered by dedicated, caring and highly-trained call takers and dispatchers. They answer our calls for help, assess our situations and dispatch the appropriate emergency personnel to the scene. In addition, they stay on the phone with us to keep us calm until help arrives.
In recognition of Telecommunicators Week (April 12-18) I would like to thank all of these professionals for the 24 hour a day, 7 days a week assurance that help is on the way when we need it most. You are all much appreciated.See the full content of this document
