TAYLORSVILLE -- Two men were airlifted to Salt Lake hospitals in serious condition Thursday after a rush-hour accident.

About 5 p.m., a car traveling east on 5400 South went through the center lane and into westbound traffic. It collided head-on with a sports-utility vehicle near 2800 West, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Jon Fassett said.
